New: 3-phase smart current sensor

The ESS 076 (3-phase) smart current sensor measures three-phase alternating current without contact. The three current conductors are fed through the openings of the through-type transformers. The measured current is processed digitally. It is output either via the analog output or via the IO-Link interface. Power and energy are calculated internally. These values are also output via the IO-Link interface.

The IO-Link converter converts three analog signals into the IO-Link protocol. This allows, for example, analog sensors to be integrated into an existing IO-Link environment (retrofit).

This interface adds IO-Link functionality to digital STEGO sensors. Measurement data from up to four external, non-IO-Link-capable sensors is transmitted to an IO-Link master. The sensor hub thus quadruples the capacity of a port on the IO-Link master. That's how easy it is to turn a digital STEGO sensor into an IO-Link sensor.

Smart distance sensor

The compact smart distance sensor uses ultrasonic waves and the principle of time-of-flight (ToF) measurement to determine the distance to objects. It is suitable for numerous application areas in the fields of distance and level monitoring. In contrast to other distance measuring methods (measuring principle e.g. laser), the DSS 015 even detects transparent objects such as glass, film and liquids and is insensitive to changing light conditions. Connection to higher-level control systems (e.g. PLC) is very easy via the IO-Link interface.
