Actuator hub

This digital IO-Link hub switches up to three actuators or loads via relays. The switching commands are issued via an IO-Link interface from higher-level field devices such as: Edge computer, cloud, PLC controller, etc.

Smart current sensor

The ESS 076 smart current sensor measures the AC current of cables without contact. Measured data is output in analog (4-20 mA signal) or digital (IO-Link) form. Measured and processed data - such as power and energy - is made available to higher-level systems such as machine control systems or edge computers for condition monitoring via the IO-Link interface.

This interface adds IO-Link functionality to digital STEGO sensors. Measurement data from up to four external, non-IO-Link-capable sensors is transmitted to an IO-Link master. The sensor hub thus quadruples the capacity of a port on the IO-Link master. That's how easy it is to turn a digital STEGO sensor into an IO-Link sensor.

Smart distance sensor

The compact smart distance sensor uses ultrasonic waves and the principle of time-of-flight (ToF) measurement to determine the distance to objects. It is suitable for numerous application areas in the fields of distance and level monitoring. In contrast to other distance measurement methods (measurement principle e.g. laser), the DSS 015 recognises even transparent objects such as glass, film and liquids and is insensitive to changing light conditions. Connection to higher-level control systems (e.g. PLC) is very easy via the IO-Link interface.

IO-Link converter

The IO-Link converter converts up to three analog 4 - 20 mA signals into the digital IO-Link protocol. This allows, for example, analog sensors to be integrated into an existing IO-Link environment (retrofit). It is used as accessories for analog sensors with a 4 - 20 mA interface for measuring purposes.
