STEGO’s business segment is the climatisation of control cabinets. Initially, our focus was on fields of application relating to heating and regulation. Although this is still the case, our product range has been expanded to include cooling, lighting and measuring.
Company founded on Gelbinger Gasse, Schwäbisch Hall by Werner Schmid, Hartmut Eisenhauer and Isidor Gloning. The first letters of the founders’ names – S, E and G – make up the bulk of the word mark STEGO.
The first enclosure heaters are built.
Construction starts on a new production and management building with a floor space of 1,200 m².
Relocation to the first self-financed new building on Robert-Bosch-Straße in Schwäbisch Hall's Stadtheide industrial district.
STEGO goes international.
Construction of the current site on Kolpingstraße.
Touchsafe heaters are introduced to the market.
Hartmut Eisenhauer leaves the company.
